These vast limestone stacks were once part of the shoreline cliffs but over time due to erosion, they got separated from the cliffs and stand alone looming upwards from the swirling waters of the southern ocean floor. These giant rock stacks are a central feature of the spectacular Port Campbell National park. While anytime of the day provides great views, sunrise and sunset are particularly impressive for the blazing hues created. You can get there by driving from Torquay to Warrnambool.
