It is located in central America between Panama and Nicaragua. Costa
Rica tourism offers many good beaches, rainforests, active volcanoes and a rich flora

Costa Rica has many popular tourist attractions:
Arenal Lake and Volcano:
Arenal Volcano is the fourth most active volcano in the world, the adjoining
lake is a famous spot for kayaking and windsurfing. This area also has caves,
hot springs and rainforest. This is the among the most popular Costa Rica
tourism attraction.
Corcovado is one of the most biologically intense places on earth. Its rain forest are by far the most exuberant in Central America. 500 different variety of trees grow here and up to 100 species can be found growing on just 2 acres of land. You will find crocodile, jaguars, giant anteaters and tapers that live in this virgin rainforest.
Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve:
This large reserve is one of the most outstanding wildlife sanctuaries in the Americas and includes eight distinct ecological zones. It protects more than 400 species of birds and over 100 species of mammals. This area usually has 100% humidity. High platforms in the air allow you to view the rainforest canopy.
Tortuguero National Park:
Its a rainforest preserve and the main attraction of Tortuguero National Park is the turtles. Here the rivers meet ocean and location is great for fishing and wildlife viewing.
Nicoya Peninsula:
Almost every visitor to Costa Rica sets their sights on the Nicoya Peninsula, known for its white-sand beaches. Surfers are particularly enamored of this hook-shaped region, whose dozens of beaches and coastal attractions are linked by often difficult-to-negotiate dirt roads (a four-wheel drive is essential).
This is one of the most spectacular volcanoes of the country. It contains many different habitats with a great diversity of trees, small flora and the cloud forest. It is the most visited National Park.
White water rafting :
The rainy season turn the calm rivers of Costa River into raging whitewater rapids.
Tortuga Island:
This Island used to be a hide out place for Pirates during the 17th. century, but today it is uninhabited with some fishermen living here in the fishing season. It is a beautiful Island with long white sand beaches and lots of interesting bays and places to visit.
