You can expect a typical club like atmosphere inside the casino with a lot of slot machines, blackjack, poker, craps, keno, roulette, other gaming zones. Many people drink and smoke as they play. As I have mentioned in one of the other article, the legal age is 21 for drinking alchohol and Las Vegas gambling. There will be bars and some other free entertainment activities which often can be seen here.

HOW MUCH MONEY IS NEEDED FOR GAMBLING AND WHAT SHOULD I PLAY ?

* In Las Vegas gambling, sky is the limit on how much you can spend in a casino. You can enter the casino's gambling area for free and occupy any open seat of the game you like to play. Do plan a maximum time and budget for Las Vegas gambling and if you exceed, then wrap up and walk out of the casino. Many people get in a tough financial situation because of too much gambling loss in a casino. I typically try to keep my Las Vegas gambling loss/budget under $100 and maximum loss of $200 after which I certainly walk away. Slot machines and blackjack are my favorite. All casinos have quarter cent (or even 5 cent) slot machines which can keep you entertained for a long time without breaking your budget. These are specially good if you have almost exhausted your planned gambling budget.

* Gamble just for fun, jackpots are very rare and if you are playing only for winning then you will most likely be disappointed. You can win or lose regardless of "Feeling Lucky" or otherwise. Never cheat as there are cameras and watchful eyes everywhere, also the laws of Nevada State heavily punish those caught cheating.

* Las Vegas gambling is fun but do watch your purse and belongings while playing, there can be some bad people who can try to steal those when you are busy in the game.

* Casinos will often give out gaming chips and cash cards which can be exchanged for money on the exchange counter located in every casino.

* Bet low especially when you are new to a game and do not know all the tactics of it. Try more than one game and if you do not know a game watch others play or tell the host that you want to learn. Try not to get over excited with smaller wins and start betting too high thinking you are getting lucky. Know that its best to walk away after a big win and cool your mind before playing again.

* If you win a jackpot do not leave your seat, call an attendant or shout for one. your income from gambling may be taxable, we do not have those details here.

* Casino's waitress often come and offer free drinks when you are playing, do not hesitate to take. Giving 1 or 2 dollar tips for free drinks is common. Alcohol can encourage you to take risky bets so be careful. And obviously do not drink and drive, driving under influence (DUI) charge is probably the last thing you want to get.

Tip of the day
Tip #2. All valuable items like jewellery and cash, important items like passport should be in your custody i.e. carry on luggage and not checked in. Check with airlines about the baggage weight they allow to avoid paying high extra fee. Call up airlines before you go to the airport if your flight is on time, arrive at the airport 3 hours before departure. Dress comfortably in long flights.
