There are over 50 wedding chapels in Vegas along with photographers, jewelers, bridal wear stores and everything that you will need. Anyone who was previously married should present a copy of their divorce papers reflecting that it is final. A common question is "how much does it cost to get married in Las Vegas" - Well, most couples get married for about $500 which includes license, photos, flowers, video, music, cake, and other smaller add-ons. But many couples get married for even cheaper.
Quick Facts / Requirements:
- In Las Vegas (i.e. in Nevada State) there are no blood tests or waiting period.
- Civil ceremonies can be performed at the Marriage Commissioner's Office at 309 S, 3rd St. Chapel St. License fee is $55 in cash.
- For license the couple must come at the Marriage license bureau 210 Clark Avenue (Ph 702-671-0600) which is open 8:00 AM till midnight ( The official who performs marriage ceremony has ten days to submit the marriage certificate to this office for records.)
- Courthouse hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - Midnight and Friday 8 a.m.
- One witness is required during the ceremony.
- Couple should be at least 18 years of age, proof of age is required and couple should carry an ID with them.
- Couples below 18 years can marry with certain restrictions, check with the license bureau for more details.
- Social Security Numbers are required on marriage licenses. Marriages are between one male and one female only.
