THE STRIP IN LAS VEGAS:

The strip is the popular 3.5 mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard and is the most happening place in Vegas. There are magnificent mega resorts on either side of the Strip and about 100,000 rooms. These places constantly have a huge variety of shows including adult shows, dance performances, comedy and family shows, or you can simply enjoy casinos and gaming. Following are some popular hotels and casinos on and around the strip.

Mandalay Bay - Based on tropical Asia theme. Attractions include Mandalay beach, topless pool, Shark reef, house of blues and Mamma Mia show. It is located on the south end of the Strip.

• Luxor - Famous for theme of ancient Egyptian pyramid & Sphinx - Steakhouse, IMax theater and Midnight fantasy show is quite popular.

• Excalibur: Medieval castle theme with multicolor turrets crowning each tower. Attractions include Steakhouse, and shows Tournament of Kings and Thunder Down Under.

• Tropicana: Savanna Steakhouse, Famous shows include Folies Bergere and The Comedy Stop.

• Hooters: South Florida theme and Affordable prices.

• New York New York: Based on New York city theme. Gallagher's Steak House, Zumanity show and roller coaster.
 
• MGM Grand: Based on Hollywood theme. Las Vegas attractions of MGM  include Lion habitat, Rainforest Cafe, Studio 54 and shows like KA and Crazy Horse.

• Aladdin/Planet Hollywood: It has an Arabian nights theme. Attractions include Dessert Passage and shows.

• The Paris: Based on the Paris theme. Attractions include Eiffel Tower Experience and the The Producers show.

• Bellagio: It has an Italian-European theme. Famous show "O". Attractions include Fountain show, Light Nightclub, Conservatory and many restaurants.

• Ballys: Attractions include garden walkway, restaurants and the Jubilee show.

• Caesars Palace: Based on old Roman empire theme. Attractions include Celine Dion show, Forum Shops and many famous restaurants.

• Flamingo: Based on Flamingo and South beach theme. Attractions include Wildlife Habitat, Society of Seven, Toni Braxton and Society of Seven.

• Imperial Palace: Based on Asian - Chinese theme, Attractions include Legends in Concert show .


• Harrahs: Based on Carnival theme and famous show of Clint Holmes. It is located on the center of the Strip.

• Treasure Island: Based on Pirates theme. Famous shows include Mystere, Sirens of TI and Nightclubs.

• Venetian: Based on the Venice-European theme. Shows include Blue Man Group, Phantom and Guggenheim Hermitage & Madame
Tussauds Museum.

• Wynn: A high end resort. Famous shows include Le Reve, Lake of Dreams and many famous restaurants.

• Riveria: Famous shows include An Evening at La Cage and Crazy Girls and an Italian restaurant.

• Circus Circus: Based on Circus theme and circus shows.

• Sahara: It has an African-Moroccan theme. Roller coaster/Speed Ride, Shows and restaurants.

• Stratosphere: Famous for the tall tower, adventures rides, restaurants and American Superstars and Bite shows. It is located on the north end of the Strip.

• Rio: It has an Carnival and Mardi grass theme. Attractions include Masquerade Show in the Sky, Penn & Teller and Chippendales. It is locates about a mile away from the Strip.

FREMONT EXPERIENCE -  LAS VEGAS ATTRACTIONS:
Fremont Street experience is a famous attraction in downtown Las Vegas. This area is famous for casinos like Golden Nugget. The most famous attraction is the 90 feet high and 1400 feet wide screen made from millions of LED's. Colorful shows happen on this screen with over 500,000 watts of sound. People just stand below this screen and look above on the screen to watch colorful performances. Other shows include the light & sound show and a mall.

OTHER EXCURSIONS -  LAS VEGAS ATTRACTIONS:
• Helicopter tours to Lake Mead and Grand Canyon from Las Vegas.
• Desert tours like Death Valley tour.
• Red Rock Canyon: hiking, rock climbing and horse riding
• A 40 minutes drive from Strip to Lake Mead National Park and Recreation Area for camping, fishing, boating and rafting.
• Hoover Dam is a little further ahead of Lake Mead.
• An apx 5.5 hour drive to Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim) .
