This majestic hotel with its unique tower opened in 1996 and has become a very famous icon of Las
Vegas. Its observation tower at 1149 feet is the tallest in United States (1149

>> First "The Big Shot Ride" - this ride launches riders at additional 160 feet at 45 miles per hour at 4Gs, you will experience weightlessness as it goes up, then comes down making it the highest thrill ride in the world. In one minute time this ride goes up and down three times.
>> Second is "Insanity Ride" - an inverted centrifuge that spins its passengers in open air and even tilts down so you can see the entire strip.
>> Third is the "X-Scream ride" where the riders are propelled at the edge of the tower and when you think that you are about to slip over the edge, it pulls you back. This process repeats before you are finally pulled back and the ride ends.
Due to the nature of these rides there is some height/age restrictions which are imposed by the Stratosphere hotel.
>> There is a revolving restaurant 800 feet up the Stratosphere tower that takes you 360 degrees in about 80 minutes. Even though it is a fine dining place, the food is not so expensive.
