The Venetian hotel opened in 1993 between Harrah's and Wynn hotels. It is truly
a masterpiece and is based on the European theme particularly the Italian city

The layout of this place is such that there is a quarter mile canal with shops on walkways on both sides. There are several bridges connecting both the sides. The attraction of this canal is largely due to the small boats/Gondola's on which the guests can take a ride. The person rowing the boat (gondoliers) will sing for you while he rows the boat and takes you all the way to the other side and back to the deck, on the way your boat will pass underneath bridges and balconies. The boat/Gondola will seat a maximum of 4 passengers at a time. A famous point in this area is St. Mark's Square which is a big hall and often hosts performances like live band, a short drama or just a human statue so still that you will not know until observed really closely.
You will find very elegant shops on this canal. Most of these shops carry high end costumes, glassware, souvenirs and more. There are also some nice restaurants in Venetian hotel.
MADAME TUSSAUD'S WAX MUSEUM:
Venetian hotel also has a Madame Tussaud's wax museum featuring statues of popular celebrities like Ben Affleck, Andre Agassi, Shaq, George Bush,Neil Armstrong, George Clooney and many more. These wax statues look so lively and real that if you take a picture with them, anyone will believe that you had the picture taken with them in real.
