THE LUXURY TRAIN OF INDIA - PALACE ON WHEELS (Rajasthan)

The Palace on Wheels is one of India's most fascinating journey covering the
pink city of Jaipur, the sand dunes city of Jaisalmer, the city of Jodhpur, the

Udaipur, the bird sanctuary of Bharatpur and the Mughal capital Agra before
returning to Delhi.
Day 01 - Delhi:
Palace on wheels begins its journey at the Delhi Railway station where the
guests are given a warm, traditional welcome before the train takes of for a
week-long luxury cruise through fascinating Rajasthan.
Day 02- Jaipur:
The luxury train makes its first stop at Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan.
At the Jaipur railway station, the guests are welcomed with strains of shehnai
and then lunch is served in a luxurious palace. To explore the city an
air-conditioned coach takes the guests to all the famous monuments, palaces, and
tourist attractions including- Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, City palace museum and
Jantar Mantar.
Day 03 - Jaisalmer:
On the third day, Palace on wheels arrives at Jaisalmer where the guests enjoy a
tour to Nathmalji-ki-haveli, Salin-singh-ki-haveli and Patwon-ki-haceli. you
will also be given a chance to go for an exciting Camel ride and shopping.
Day 04 - Jodhpur:
On the fourth day of the trip, Palace on wheels arrives at Jodhpur, the city of
Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. Along with sightseeing you can also shop for
exclusive handicraft articles that are famous all around the world.
Day 05 - Sawai Madhopur and Chittorgarh:
On the fifth day Palace on wheels reaches Sawai Madhopur, from where an
excursion is arranged to the Ranthambore National Park, which is considered to
be the country's best Wildlife sanctuary. After lunch the Palace-on-Wheels takes
you to Chittorgarh, the city of Valor and chivalry.
Day 06 - Udaipur:
On the sixth day, guests are taken to Udaipur, the city of marble palaces. It is
here that the guests see the Lake City of Udaipur along with other attractions.
Day 07 - Bharatpur, Agra:
On the seventh day Palace-on-Wheels takes you to Bharatpur, where after visiting
the world famous bird sanctuary, the Palace-on-Wheels heads towards Agra, the
city of Taj Mahal which is one of the seven wonders of the world.
Day 08 - Delhi:
On the last day, Palace on wheels returns to Delhi leaving you with delightful
memories and an experience of a life time.
COST PER PERSON:
The cost for traveling in this luxurious train is apx. $400 to $450 USD Per
Person Per Night, including cost of travel, accommodation, dining and
sightseeing. Half fare for children between 5 and 12 years of age.
