TRAVEL TIPS AND TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation:
Singapore is a very small country but it has some very good Hotels and very
efficient Transportation System like Singapore MRT Train system. There is no
need to rent a car since the city has an extensive transportation system with
road, rail, bus and waterways. You can get from one place to another in not more
than 20-30 minutes. So all you have to decide is which hotel you wish to stay.
If you decide to use a Taxi which are easily available, the fare is usually
about 15-20 Singapore Dollars for most locations but eventually all depends how
far you travel, taxi drivers often give you a rough estimate if you ask them
before boarding.
Cell Phone: The prepaid SIM card along with an unlocked international
cell phone is the easiest and most economical solution for staying in touch
while in Singapore. You will require a SIM-unlocked GSM 900 / 1800 compatible
international cell phone. You may visit http://www.telestial.com to buy a sim
card before you visit.
COMING SOON... Las Vegas Style casinos will soon be built in Singapore.
