South Africa Attractions and tourism Some of the most popular tourist attractions are -

Blyde River Canyon:
It is one of the most spectacular South Africa attractions and the third deepest canyon in the world. The canyon is 30 kilometers long, located in the Panorama tourist region, 15 kilometers from Graskop.

Cape Point lighthouse:
It is located at the edge of table mountain in the southwest tip of South Africa near Cape Town. This is also known as the Cape of good hope and is a fairly popular among South Africa attractions for visitors coming to Cape Town.

Drake Mountains:
Also know as Dragons Mountain they are the highest mountains of South Africa and located in southeast coast of the country. The highest peak is Thabana Ntlenyana at 3,482 meters, they extend from northeast to southwest for around 1,125 kilometers.

Kruger National Park:
It is probably the best managed African National Park with a large number of tourists coming to this extremely popular park each year. It is divided in 14 different eco-zones, each supporting different wildlife and among the popular South Africa Attractions.

Table mountain:
It is the biggest attraction of Cape Town, its 1086 meter high and offers breathtaking views over the city, beaches and offers many activities for the tourists. It is part of the Cape Floral Region, a World Heritage site.

The Winelands:
Wine tasting and touring is one of the very famous South Africa attractions. Its is an area north of Cape Town very famous for its vineyards and wine tasting. Many of these vineyards in Winelands have restaurants and offer wine tasting and many of them further offer night stay lodges.



The Sun City:
This is an extremely famous South African casino resort situated just two hours drive from the capital Johannesburg.
