Djebra Island (or Jebra Island) - Tunisia

kilometer in area and about 150,000 residents of mostly Berber origin live here
along with a small population of Christians and Jews.

Djebra Island has been under the rule of Phoenicians, Romans, Arabs, French, Spanish and many more. Tourists can also enjoy Roman sites, pirates castle and fortress like mosques. Most of the houses are mostly square shaped and whitewashed, located all over the island. The weather is good most of the year and lots of European tourists including Tunisians and other African countries come to enjoy this paradise.
