UGANDA - Africa
It is located in east-central Africa, situated north and northwest of Lake
Victoria, Winston Churchill once called it as ‘the pearl of Africa’. Uganda lies
where the East African savannah meets the West African jungle. The greater part
of Uganda consists of a plateau about 4,000 ft in height.
Uganda enjoys one of the best climates in the world. It is sunny and green all year around with two distinct rainy seasons stretching from March to May and September to November. Uganda lies astride the equator and bordered by Kenya in the east, Tanzania and Rwanda in the south, Democratic Republic of Congo in the west and Sudan in the North. The southern part of the country includes a substantial portion of Lake Victoria, within which it shares borders with Kenya and Tanzania.
