Recently two weeks ago I and my family just have vacation in one of the most
beautiful island in Malaysia that is Pulau Tioman (Tioman island). It is located
in the west coast of Malaysia along Terengganu state facing to South
China Sea. For your information year 2008 is declared by State Government of
Terengganu as Visit Terengganu Year and sure there are a lot of charms waiting
everyone.
Travel by boat takes about 3 hrs from the jetty to reach there. Along the boat
journey you are amazed with natural beauty of the sea and surroundings. The
boating was so exciting as the weather on that day was shining and breezing. The
weather is great, almost all the year shining in the hot sun. Upon arriving I
can see a lot of tourist mainly foreigners were enjoying themselves playing
beach football and some just lay down on the white sandy beach for sunbathing
and while other were snorkeling on the sea surface. Traveling to Tioman
is quite inexpensive. It can be as luxurious as you want, but if you are looking
for an affordable vacation, Tioman provides that too. In Tioman we stayed in the
chalet within our budget for three days.
If you are looking for luxury hotels there are Berjaya Hotel with world class facilities provided. You have many options on where to stay and how to get there. Stay in a beachfront wooden chalet or home instead of a hotel. Tioman is fairly convenient for everyone within a wide range of your budget. In the chalet we stayed the facilities provided were very comfortable with local and western food available. There are also facilities for divers who wish to dive and explore the natural beauty under the sea. For myself I just experienced diving nearby the island at the distant not too deep as pro divers. But still I can see the amazing underwater life like green turtle, colorful fishes and corals. For pro divers you can take boat to small islands surrounding Tioman island which you can enjoy diving in deeper and more challenging environment. Among the best diving spots are Terumbu kili and Pulau lima. Clear waters, sun-drenched beaches and unspoiled tranquility are the main attractions of Malaysia's islands. The Island have been sought after havens of peace from turbulent outside world, a tradition that is evidenced today by their status as international holiday destinations. Underwater and its marine life is absolutely stunning. Beneath the waves lie the fascinating world of coral and marine life awaiting to be discovered.
As long as you love sun, sand and sea, anywhere you stay in this island promises a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The true charm lies in the white sandy beaches, clear waters and rich diversity of marine life. If you are the true lover for natural beauty then the island are the must visit islands for holiday. Variety. Again, if you are looking for multiple vacation ideas, Tioman is your top choice. There are plenty of things to do in Tioman. This ranges from relaxing on the beautiful beaches, sunsets, fishing from piers, boating, jet skis, other water activities, golfing, and more. Enjoy great food, entertainment, nightlife, people, and so much more.
