Warwickshire is located in the west midlands of the United Kingdom, it is split up into five districts which are known as Warwick, North Warwickshire, Nuneaton and Bedworth, Rugby and Stratford on Avon. One of the most popular and common is Stratford on Avon as this was the birth place for the notorious William Shakespeare. People tend to live in the north of this county as the southern end is more rural and only contains one small village called Cotswold. Warwickshire is a very historical place with loads of attractions to visit and has been around since the beginning of the 11th century.

If you were to visit Warwickshire today you will have over 30 attractions that may be of interest to you. Some of the popular ones are Arbury Hall, The Belfry, Brinklow Castle, Warwick Castle, Coventry Canal, Lunt Roman Fort and many many more. Be sure to look into them all as you won't be able to visit them all in one go, you will have to return to Warwickshire with your family to get the full potential is has to offer.

There are many tours which you can enroll in to make sure you visit the beautiful scenery it can provide you, it doesn't matter if you're on a budget. Some of these attractions will cost you absolutely nothing if you can navigate your own way around.

If you're planning on stopping overnight in Warwickshire (which you will have to if you want to make this a vacation to remember) you have the choice of where to stay. There are many cottages that are available to rent so you can make it your home away from home, bring the whole family down and rent cottage to be able to ensure privacy. This will no doubt bring your family closer together as you can take part in the events as a family, there is something to do that will suit everyone's interests and hobbies.

You can also find a bed and breakfast or go self catering, this has the advantages of being able to find a place you don't have to look after as much. These are ideal if you don't plan on spending much time in your room. You need to check your schedule to see what you have planned as more time than not you will only be sleeping in your room so there is no point in renting a whole cottage unless you are staying for a longer period of time.
